Here are the basic steps to setting up your artwork file to make sure your pricing, sizing, color, and layout get uploaded correctly.

1. Set Your Design/Artwork Size

Make sure the your artwork or design is set at the exact size you want it printed. If you want a 5.27 x 4.34 DTF Transfer, then make sure your artwork/design is 5.27 x 4.34.

2. Set Your Page/Artboard To Same Size

Adjust the size of your page or artboard to match the size of your artwork/design. If you put a 5.27" x 4.34" design on a 6" x 6" page, our system will use 6" x 6" to set sizing and pricing.

3. Convert Fonts and Strokes

It's best practice to convert all fonts to an outline or object, and convert/expand any strokes.

4. Use CMYK Colors

This step isn't necessary but is recommended. DTF printing is done in CMYK colors, so any RBG, Pantone, or other color type will be converted before printing. While you are designing, use CMYK colors to get the most accurate representation of how the colors will look.

5. Save Your File As PDF or PNG

PDF and PNG are the preferred (i.e. BEST) file types for DTF prints.

If your artwork or design has white, saving as a PNG with transparency will show this the best.
